PROLLiON leads major R&D and industrialization programs.
In order to achieve improved performance and increased reliability and safety, it is required to develop new technologies, with particular emphasis on the following:
- development of new materials (anodes, cathodes, electrolytes, separators);
- development of new-generation energy management algorithms.
PROLLiON has implemented several research programs in partnership with leading players in the field of lithium-ion battery development, such as the CEA Liten laboratory.
In particular, those include the PROCYiON2 and ElexC projects funded by the French Inter ministerial Fund (FUI).
These projects have been certified by major clusters.
